Omemee and District Historical Society Kitchens of Yester–Year will be on display on the stage at the Coronation Hall during the Omemee Lioness Breakfast on July 2nd, and until the end of the Coronation Hall Birthday Party,which wraps up at 3 p.m. Come see the wonderful gadgets which were our ancestors equivalent of the latest thing!Perhaps you have a kitchen widget that you’re trying to identify, come check these out,and you may get some clues!
About the Omemee and District Historical Society:
Omemee and District Historical Society meets the second Sunday of each month at Coronation Hall, 1 King Street West, in the center of Omemee. Each meeting has a different theme, and the Historical Society always has a wealth of information on hand about the history of Omemee Area. They even have a few copies of the reprint of C. Hillier WIlliamson’s book on the History of Omemee, as well as the beautiful Walker’s Guide to Omemee - The Pigeon Town.
